I've decided to go back to the basics with my studies in art and illustration. I am reviewing and studying light and color as well as perspective with a more thural and in depth approach. The reason being; The subject matter, compostion and level of understanding will be more challenging and more complex than iilustration work I've done in my career. My interests have been leaning towards computer graphics, concept and character development artist. That is so exciting an interesting to me. Some of the programs I'm currently using are Painter X, Daz Studio, Poser 7, Corel Draw, and Photoshop. Stay tuned for sneek peak studies and posts.

My first book Let Me Paint A Picture was a long and challenging journey of creativity, discipline, and learning. The book Consists of drawing, painting, sketches, design, and writing. Pushing my writing from beging to completion has given me the discipline to take my creative talents to the next level. Since completing the book I took a break from art/work for a while. Now I've re-gained that creative passion and began studying other genres of illustration, computer graphics, and story developement. Stay tuned to see whats next for Urban Rockwell in 09.
